Lothian's Hottle builds at Stevenson

For the first time in school history Stevenson University will have its own football team next fall and will be under the direction of an Anne Arundel County man.

Ed Hottle, a Lothian resident and father of four, was selected to be the head coach for the Stevenson University football team after successful coaching stints at Frostburg University, Denison University and Gallaudet University, where he was the head coach for the past five seasons.

Last season, Hottle produced 15 all-conference players at Galladuet and was named conference coach of the year. Hottle's Gallaudet squad was also ranked 10th in the nation in total...
