More rain to come, but sun on the horizon Daylong showers left 0.27 of an inch of rain at BWI Airport yesterday, piling on moisture for an already wetter-than-usual April. Sprinkles are expected to drop another 0.3 of an inch of precipitation today, said Trina Heiser, a technician with the National Weather Service in Sterling, Va. So far this month, 3.68 inches of rain have been recorded at Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The average for the entire month of April is about 3 inches. To date this year, about 10 inches of rain have been recorded at the airport, about 1.67 fewer than normal. But gray skies...
