School board vows decision soon on health insurancePublished 10/20/04
County school board members promised last night to choose one of two health care insurers within the next few days - ending a bidding war between the companies, if only temporarily. "Whoever loses is going to go to Circuit Court ... in the next week or two," said United Healthcare attorney Scott Livingston. Company officials met with the board at a special meeting to argue that the contract should go to them.
