Murderer's drug charges dropped County prosecutors won't pursue drug charges against Terrence Tolbert, the man sentenced to life in prison without parole in a 2002 Historic District murder. Tolbert, 21, was sentenced Thursday in the slaying of Straughan Lee Griffin, 51. A judge also tacked on 30 years for conspiracy to commit armed carjacking. Yesterday, prosecutors dropped a 2002 drug case against Tolbert, and they plan to do the same with a 2004 case. "After he has received life without parole plus 30 consecutive, I'm not sure there's a point," Assistant State's Attorney Frederick Paone said. In the 2004...
