More than 1,000 tiny mounts gallop in competitionPublished 04/04/05
More than 1,000 horses packed into the cinder-block lined meeting room at the Londontowne Community Center this weekend. Appaloosas, Paints, Clydesdales and countless other breeds were represented. But the horses were much smaller - of course, of course - than Mr. Ed. Plastic, china and wooden statuettes highlighted the 25th annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Model Horse Show, held to raise money for Therapeutic Riding in Anne Arundel County and the Oak Crest Therapeutic Riding Program in Harwood.
