Crofton woman hurt in crash An 18-year-old Crofton woman remained in critical condition this morning after a head-on collision last night at the intersection of routes 2 and 214 in Edgewater, county police said. Trelanda Marie Packard was driving a silver 2001 Ford Escort north on Route 2 at about 10:32 p.m. when a southbound pickup truck traveling in the northbound lanes hit her head on. County police said the driver of the pickup, Jason Patrick Childress, 27, of Lusby, turned left off Route 214 onto Route 2, but entered the wrong side of the divided highway.
