That's the message hospital officials sent out today as they kicked off a year-long celebration with a big surprise: a new name.
The hospital is now Baltimore Washington Medical Center, a name officials said reflects their plans to grow over the next 40 years.
"This is a name that reflects where the hospital currently is and where it's headed for the future," hospital President and CEO James R. Walker said.
