Severn murder is second killing in area in three weeksPublished 09/04/05
A 34-year-old Severn man was shot to death in the Orchards at Severn, commonly known as Pioneer City, early yesterday morning, county police said. This was the second murder and third shooting in Severn in the past three weeks. Responding to a report of shots fired, officers found the body of Edward Grunell Howard Jr. around 1 a.m. behind a row of town homes in the 1900 block of Arwell Court. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Lt.
