The county Health Department is giving artists a chance to get something off their chests. It's kicking off a contest to raise awareness of women's issues. The canvas: A lightly padded size 36C bra. It encourages artists to decorate the undergarments with paint, beads, fabric or whatever strikes their fancy as a tribute to women's wellness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The idea came from Sallye Silesky, a professional quilter who works part-time at the county's "Learn to Live" cancer prevention hotline.
