County wins bid for horse parkPublished 10/10/05
Anne Arundel County made the final cut today to host a state horse park, winning the endorsement of the Maryland Stadium Authority. During a meeting in Baltimore the authority voted to choose the Naval Academy Dairy Farm in Gambrills over Fair Hill in Cecil County. A consulting firm will now develop a design for the facility and conduct an economic analysis before the authority asks the legislature for approval in January. "And they're off!" Del.
