Council split on Market HousePublished 10/11/05
The City Council split last night over the Market House, with some aldermen calling for the city to move on and others demanding more information on what went wrong. Alderwomen Louise M. Hammond, D-Ward 1, and Sheila M. Tolliver, D-Ward 2, said their questions regarding the collapse of the city's proposed 20-year lease of the City Dock market to gourmet grocer Dean & DeLuca still haven't been answered.
