Officials raise concerns for horse park after trip to KentuckyPublished 11/18/05
The Kentucky Horse Park, the model for a smaller facility planned in Gambrills, is beautiful, but is in a far more rural area and has far more paved surfaces than would be welcome here, three top aides told County Executive Janet S. Owens after their tour this week. "Clearly the Kentucky Horse Park is a place I would like to go and visit," Ms. Owens said after she was briefed by her staff yesterday, a day after they returned from Lexington.
