Simmons Air to resume flights to beach with new partnerPublished 01/03/06
Six weeks after grounding its Ocean City flights, an Annapolis company is teaming up with a Massachusetts regional airline to restart service and eventually expand to other vacation destinations, the companies announced this morning. By Feb. 1, Simmons Air and Cape Air plan to offer three daily round-trip flights from BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport to the beach. But they will cost twice as much: When Simmons Air rolled out in September, the flights cost $45 each. They will now run $95 one-way.
