Family members think that love may have killed the 27-year-old early Sunday, leading her to crash her car on a darkened Broadneck Peninsula road a couple blocks from her home.
"It would not surprise me at all if she swerved because of an animal," said Richard Lummus, her father-in-law. "She often said she would rather swerve and die than kill one."
Her mother, Sharon Head of Forest Hill in Harford County, didn't want to speculate, but said, "That would be like her."
