The wide porch that winds around three sides of the American foursquare house on West Street was the initial attraction for newlyweds Joetta Smith Holt and John Holt. "It was the wonderful porch that took our attention," said Mrs. Holt, "and then we decided we loved the whole house." This purchase was made in 2003 shortly after their marriage. Little did they dream then that three years later they would have a fully operational bed and breakfast facility named the Annapolitan.
