A grand jury indicted Megan Rene Patria on Friday, and the indictment was unsealed yesterday afternoon after she turned herself into authorities.
She was being held this morning at the county detention center on $750,000 bail. The murder charge carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. She also is charged with child abuse resulting in death, which carries 30 years, and manslaughter, which carries 10.
