Reilly asks council to back Route 3 moratoriumPublished 07/12/06
Bolstered by a legal opinion that says a temporary ban on commercial building along Route 3 would be legal, County Councilman Ed Reilly last night said he's cautiously working to win support for the proposed freeze. The Crofton Republican told 300 people at a forum on growth that the public's willingness to accept the potentially costly consequences will help him determine how to proceed - just 24 hours after saying he would not support the moratorium because of possible lawsuits.
