Family sues country club over 5-year-old's drowningPublished 07/21/06
The family of a 5-year-old Davidsonville boy who drowned at the Crofton County Club have sued the club and the company that manages the pool for $20 million. The family of Connor Freed filed the wrongful death lawsuit yesterday in county Circuit Court, a month after the drowning. It claims that the actions of the club and employees of Hunt Valley-based DRD Pool Service Inc. led to the boy's death. "The lifeguards and staff failed Connor Freed and they failed the family," said Briggs Bedigian, the family's attorney. William B.
