The environmental impact of a looming population boom in west county and the need for better transportation were the top concerns of a group of government officials and others who took part in a statewide study of attitudes on population growth, a report released yesterday shows. Anne Arundel County was included in the Reality Check Plus exercise for Central Maryland at the Baltimore Convention Center in June.
