Olivia Valentino put her electronic pen to a funky new blackboard in Millersville Elementary Tuesday afternoon.
And with a flick of the wrist, the third-grader matched the word "colorful" to a digital picture of a beach ball on a state-of-the-art electronic chalkboard some want to put in every county classroom.
"It's outstanding," said Olivia, who easily caught on to the gadget.
Interactive chalkboards are cropping up in schools across the county as teachers and principals increasingly become wowed by the versatility of the 21st Century technology.
