Board to vote on middle school
SEVERNA PARK - The county Board of Education is scheduled to vote on renovations to Severna Park Middle School Wednesday night after putting the decision on hold two weeks ago.
Board members must choose among the parents' pick of a new $58 million school, a $46 million overhaul and a more extensive $56 million renovation that would add 7,000 square feet of classroom space.
Parents Monday night threw their support behind a new middle school, reversing their earlier recommendation for the $56 million overhaul.
