Tarry Lomax of Eastport casts his ballot this morning at the Eastport Volunteer Fire Hall for the Ward 8 alderman race. With only a few dozen voters this morning, candidates in Wards 4 and 8 hope more residents will show up as the day progresses.White posters, some plastered to the back of election signs from former alderman Josh Cohen, were scattered throughout Ward 8, reminding residents to "Vote today."
