Health officials will examine samples collected from 100 wells in a nearly 3-mile stretch bordered by Evergreen Road on the north, Bragers Road on the west, the Patuxent River on the south and Route 3 on the east.
The test site is outside the area the county tested recently, but it may help reveal the cause of the high metal levels it found in wells in the area, said Elin Jones, a spokesman for the health department.
