A fatal crash involving a stolen car brought traffic to a crawl around Annapolis yesterday evening, shutting down one of the city’s main arteries for more than four hours and forcing motorists onto side roads.

One man died in the 5 p.m. wreck on Aris T. Allen Boulevard and two other were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.
