Three people who used a charcoal grill indoors to keep warm were hospitalized with severe carbon monoxide poisoning last night as the county continued to recover from the Valentine's Day ice storm. Photo no longer available

The cold and power outages also led to at least three fires around the county yesterday, fire officials said.
More than 16,000 Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. county customers remained without power this morning, down from more than 70,000 just after the storm.
