Severna Park man sentenced in meth casePublished 03/11/07
BALTIMORE - A federal judge yesterday sentenced a Severna Park man who ran a methamphetamine lab in his garage to more than three years in prison. Brian Kauffmann, 33, pleaded guilty in April to possession with the intent to distribute and conspiracy. Federal agents raided Kauffmann's home at 315 Pertch Road in August 2005. The DEA said he had been running the lab out of a garage for several months. U.S. District Court Judge William D. Quarles Jr. sentenced Kauffmann 37 months, with another five years suspended, and five years of supervised probation. He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and continue...
