Rowe Blvd. project finally completed

Debbie Rosen McKerrow was skeptical in 2000 when she learned about a plan to renovate the bridges on Rowe Boulevard leading into Annapolis.

Ms. Rosen joined a committee of residents that gave the State Highway Administration feedback on the scope of the project, as well as voicing concerns about the impact it would have in their community.

This morning, Ms. Rosen was one of several community leaders who gathered at the newly completed College Creek Bridge for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"Our bridges are beautiful," she said. "They will graciously welcome travelers to and from our city for many years to come."
