Officer shot, bank robber killedPublished 03/28/07
A bank robber was shot and killed this morning after he shot a county police officer in the leg in Severna Park, police said. The officer, Doyle Holquist, age 32, was conscious and speaking as he was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was treated and released late this morning. The shooting brought a swarm of officers, along with news and police helicopters, to a normally quiet area. "It's Severna Park, man.
