Jan Wisooker, 43, told police she was in her home in the 400 block of Linden Avenue at 6:45 p.m. when she heard a knock at the door.
When she opened the door, her 3-year-old dog, Blaze, ran past her and jumped on Anthony Palemine, 47, a Comcast worker who was there for service.
The dog bit and clawed at Mr. Palemine's right arm, tearing the forearm muscle from his elbow to his wrist. The dog also bit his left arm, police said.
