Recovering teen addicts open up with camera, pen

She's alone in the photograph. Standing behind a chain-link fence, her fingers entwined with the metal, she stares at the camera.

She's in trouble and trying to clean up her life, she wrote.

"I try to find my way out. But the only way seems to be a painful road that will not end."
