Judge urged to send Libby to jail now
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald urged a federal judge today not to delay former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's 2½-year prison sentence in the CIA leak case.
Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, has argued that he has a good chance of winning an appeal and should be allowed to remain free until that challenge has run its course.
