Two men and a woman, between ages 18 and 20, were riding in a 16½-foot Donzi in the mouth of the Magothy River around 7:50 p.m. when they ran out of gas, said Lt. Frank Fennell, a county Fire Department spokesman.
The three rode the boat into a sandbar and one of the men waded onto shore to pick up gasoline from another boater who offered assistance.
