Circuit Court Judge Nancy Davis-Loomis said yesterday that she plans to read case law before handing down her ruling.
Megan Patria, now 18, is charged as a juvenile with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and first- and second-degree child abuse. She hid her pregnancy from her parents, delivered the 8-pound baby by herself on Dec. 3, 2005, in her mother's Arnold bathroom, and eventually threw the body in the trash.
