"It is assuming that every employer is trying to game the system, and that's not the case," said Bob Burdon, president and chief executive officer of the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.

Leopold Offends Business? - August 16, 2007

Kudos for Mr Leopold. The County should in NO way support employment or ANY benefits for illegal aliens no matter what their counrty of origin. Mary Schumaker is missing the point:If you're here illegally you are by moral definition a criminal and should be on the next bus, train, boat, aircraft, or flying carpet outta here. If they had any stones, the State and Federal dimbulbs would follow Mr Leopolds lead.I'm not holding my breath. With the leperous advancement of "Hilleryism" oozing it's way into society, the prospect is grim for intestinal fortitude above the County level.
