Bus safety high on police radarPublished 08/20/07
As children’s thoughts turn from summer and play to pencils and notebooks, local and state police are stepping up efforts to make sure this year’s return to school is a safe one. “It is the responsibility of every driver to exercise caution, especially when children are involved, and motorists should be prepared to stop quickly while driving anywhere near a school bus,” Col. Terrence B.
