Nearly one year after heavy metals were first discovered in their wells, Summerfield Road residents were hooked up last week to a temporary public water system.
Some residents say it is a simple fix that could have come months ago.
Rob Scrivener, vice president at BBSS said this temporary solution that includes a series of hoses connected to a fire hydrant is a step in the right direction toward solving the problem. "If they can wash cars and drink and clean on public water, that is good for everything," he said.
