Experts see over-developed AnnapolisPublished 10/24/07
Annapolis is facing unprecedented population growth in the next two decades, and now may be the last good chance to begin designing progressive transportation and infrastructure systems to meet the challenge, a team of urban planning experts told an audience of 400 last night.
An additional 147,000 acres of land is projected to be developed by 2030 in central Maryland, which includes Anne Arundel County and Annapolis, said Jason K. Sartori, program director of the Partnership for Land Use Success at the University of Maryland.
