An Arnold teenager who was convicted of killing her newborn son will continue her sentence on community detention for at least another month. Find Us On Facebook
Megan Patria, now 19, has been accepted into Mid-Atlantic Youth Services, a juvenile facility in Pennsylvania, but is unable to go until state and county officials approve it. The county's Local Coordinating Council - a consortium of agency heads that develops plans for children with intensive needs - will discuss the issue at its Nov. 14 meeting. The State Coordinating Council, which is similar and on the state level, will do the same at a meeting two weeks later.
