A Baltimore City judge may face criminal charges for allegedly dumping as many as 40 truckloads of construction debris into the Patapsco River behind his Pasadena home.

This is just some of the debris dumped along the shoreline of a Baltimore judge's Pasadena waterfront home.
County inspectors found that during one weekend in October last year, landfill rubble including broken sinks and toilets, concrete blocks and rebar was piled along the shoreline where the river meets Stoney Creek on property owned by Baltimore City District Court Judge Askew W. Gatewood Jr.
County attorneys referred the case to the Environmental Crimes Unit of the state Attorney General's Office nearly a year ago, and County Executive John R. Leopold became concerned...
