Eastern District officers strike back at break-insPublished 12/03/07
Looking back over his nearly four decades with county police, Capt. Robert Johnson has seen a spike in a particular type of crime.
In the past year, incidents of breaking and entering have jumped 9 to 13 percent.
"The main problems we've had have been street robberies and breaking and entering," said Capt. Johnson, commander of the Eastern District. "Those are the things that we really need to focus on."
