2007:Deadliest Year - 2007-12-30 13:41:49

I would like to comment about the mighty dollar.First of all I would like to say that I do appreciate you article about Roosevelt Sterling,he was well known by most of Annapolis.Still yet I again there seem to be a need to put salt in the wound of grieving families. My question is would there be less money to be made if your article on 2007 deadliest year had been written any other way?Have anyone at the Capital ever walked in these families shoes?Have anyone at the Capital ever took the time to learn anything about the victims besides their criminal history?Did the Capital sell more papers by printing the criminal history of the victims? The victims are gone to a place where there past no longer matters.Somehow there past still matters to you.Let their families have their memories of their loved ones.Do you think the community is not aware of their past?Have you ever taken the time to consider that most of the families are your customers.I guess that doesn't matter just as long as that mighty dollar come rolling in.What if all the families and friends of the victim decide not to purchase your paper? How mighty will the dollar be then.
I'm sure Roosevelt Sterling family was touched by the article you wrote.I'm sure they will remember that article for a long time.Would it be to much to let these families keep their memories. The person you write about just might not be the person they remember.
I guess it's true that the dollar is the root of all evil.
