Anne Arundel schools will get little help tackling a $1.5 billion backlog in construction projects in Gov. Martin O'Malley's $31.6 billion state budget, which was released this morning. Find Us On Facebook
County schools are in line for $18 million in school construction money in the spending plan, according to Speaker of the House Michael E. Busch, D-Annapolis, who estimates the final figure will be between $20 and $25 million once the budget is finalized. That's still down from nearly $28 million last year.
