School officials were unaware of the drug lab until they were contacted by The Capital Tuesday afternoon, but the school's former principal does not believe students were in any danger.
"The children were never in that area," said Patricia Nalley, who now serves on the county school board. "I don't have a problem with (not being told) as long as the police knew."
