Evening high school to open for AnnapolisPublished 02/01/08
The county's fifth evening high school will open at Annapolis High next week, giving the area's students a night school closer to home.
The new school is part of a plan to expand evening high schools to more parts of the county, said Bob Mosier, a spokesman for the school system. Glen Burnie, Northeast, South River and Meade already have evening high schools.
The Annapolis Evening High School will bring back students in the area who have trouble meeting graduation requirements or who have dropped out, said Michael Lilley, an administrator at the new school. "It's all about chances," said Mr....
