After five years of legal and legislative battling, Anne Arundel County has struck a settlement with a church that wants to build a school in south county.
The agreement requires the county approve within two years a larger facility than the church originally applied for, or else.
The agreement, signed back in November, practically guarantees Riverdale Baptist Church will get what it wants, or a federal lawsuit alleging the county discriminated against the church in preventing permits and construction from proceeding will resume.
