When approximately 4,000 Defense Information System Agency employees move to Fort George G. Meade, they will work in a facility with enough floor space for approximately eight Wal-Mart stores.
The first construction contract for Fort Meade related to the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure process has been awarded, and work is set to begin in mid-April.
