A Baltimore District Court judge charged with illegally using construction debris to repair his shoreline in Pasadena blames County Executive John R. Leopold for his legal woes.

Construction debris lines the shoreline of Baltimore District Court Judge Askew W. Gatewood Jr.'s Pasadena home. The state Attorney General's Office is prosecuting the judge on numerous environmental charges.
Attorneys for Judge Askew W. Gatewood Jr. claim the county executive's public comments in November about the case amounted to "political pressure."
