Bad grades for bay on report cardPublished 04/03/08
It's report card time again for the Chesapeake Bay and the grades are dismal - especially for Anne Arundel County's rivers.

This map shows grades for water quality in various parts of the Chesapeake Bay in 2007.
An area called the Lower Western Shore - which includes the Magothy, Severn, South, West and Rhode rivers - earned the worst grades of the bay in a report card issued today by the University of Maryland.

Until we get some politicians in office who will step up to the plate and do what really needs to be done to save the bay there is no hope! There need to be drastic measures taken to save the bay now, we need to wake up and do what needs to be done or the Chesapeake will be a dead body of water! It's very sad to sit back and watch such a wonderful gift of nature die ......
