Teens trapped, injured in crash
PASADENA - Four teenagers were seriously injured when a sport utility vehicle crashed into a tree along Fort Smallwood Road Saturday night, county police said.
Randy Wayne Thomas, 17, of Halethorpe, was driving a 1996 Toyota south near Solley Road about 9:50 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. The Toyota spun in a circle, jumped a curb, and crashed into a tree. The tree, which is 9 inches thick, went into the vehicle, trapping Mr. Thomas and Devin Collins, 22, who was in the back seat, police said.
