St. John's, Naval Academy, AACC announce graduation speakers

The head of the National Endowment for the Humanities will deliver the commencement address at St. John's College on May 11, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will speak at the Naval Academy commissioning on May 23, the schools announced yesterday.

At Anne Arundel Community College's graduation on May 29, the speaker will be Tyrone D. Taborn, chairman and chief executive officer of the Baltimore-based Career Communications Group Inc.

St. John's College will graduate 106 seniors, according to college officials, and Bruce Cole, chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will deliver the commencement...
